Rotary Motion
This is an articulating configuration using a ball joint and clevis to connect to the
lever. It is important to observe the following precautions in this arrangement:
a. Axis of sleeve should be midway between high point of travel and low
point of travel of the lever. This insures equal articulation of the ball joint and
uniformity of forces and stroke.
b. Mid-position of lever should coincide with mid-position of stroke.
c. Articulation of ball joint should be minimal and not exceed ± 5°.
Lengths of components and position should be selected accordingly.
d. Type FT (front thread) fittings recommended for ball bearing controls.
